Did you know a cup of coffee could offer a latte of health benefits? While past studies have indicated some not so great health risks associated with coffee, more recent research sheds a new light. There is evidence that coffee may offer some protection against diseases like Parkinson’s, Type II Diabetes, liver diseases including some cancers, heart attack and stroke. Even more important benefits may include improving your mood and energy levels.
Believe it or not, coffee supplies the greatest source of antioxidants in the American diet. It also contains some essential vitamins and minerals like riboflavin, pantothenic acid, manganese, potassium, magnesium and niacin.
While I do not recommend you start drinking coffee if you don’t already, there is no need to be so depresso about your already existing habit.
