Loving Lentils

Different varieties are best suited for different purposes. Compared to the most common brown lentils, red and yellow lentils break down quickly and do not hold their shape making them best for soups or stews. Black lentils have a strong nutty flavor and are visually appealing in salads and grains. Pink lentils are thinner than the rest creating a silky smooth texture great for soups. Now that you know all the reasons to love lentils, why not give them a try just a lentil bit more?
